Business Valuations

The prime principle of a business valuation is to establish a “fair market value”, that is basically what a buyer is prepared to pay for it.

The business valuation should be considered the starting point for negotiations as opposed to setting the final price a vendor should accept. In fact a valuation is more likely to provide a price range, rather than simply a spot price for the business.
